how this was going to work out for me in terms of my growth in the company.

that supports a small, local community, partnering with one of the largest companies in the United States. How do those missions and those cultural aspects align?

[BEHRANG D. HARSINI SPEAKING]

BEHRANG D. HARSINI: Folks that were working in an organization that was rather small, have really grown in ways that I don’t think were possible without this partnership.

[SOPHIA DOEBLER SPEAKING]

SOPHIA DOEBLER: With Optum as a partner, there are definitely more career opportunities. There are more resources available to employees.

BEHRANG D. HARSINI VOICEOVER: And that really created a sense of there’s a path for me that’s beyond just a job at this organization.

[BEHRANG D. HARSINI SPEAKING]

BEHRANG D. HARSINI: I can move into a role that allows me to have a career.

[SOPHIA DOEBLER SPEAKING]

SOPHIA DOEBLER: I’ve obtained my computer information systems degree and that’s very exciting.

[VICTORIA RENDON SPEAKING]

VICTORIA RENDON: I definitely feel that I have more opportunity in my personal career and I love it. And I didn’t expect that because I’ve worked at so many organizations where I did not get that.

[Text On Screen – In the first year of the partnership, BCH saw a $6 million revenue improvement and decreased employee attrition by 56%.]

[BEHRANG D. HARSINI SPEAKING]

BEHRANG D. HARSINI: My first job out of college was actually working for Boulder Community Health and I’ve come back and I’ve been able to serve in this role where I believe myself and everybody involved in the partnership, was able to drive some pretty material, you know, positive impact.
